L.A. CLIPPERS OWNER TO GF:
DON'T BRING BLACK PEOPLE TO MY GAMES ...
Including Magic Johnson

L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling told his GF he does NOT want her bringing black people to his games ... including Magic Johnson ... and it's ALL on tape.
TMZ Sports has obtained audio of Sterling making the racist declaration during a heated argument on April 9th with V. Stiviano ... after she posted a photo on Instagram posing with Magic.
Sterling rails on Stiviano -- who ironically is black and Mexican -- for putting herself out in public with a black person (she has since taken the pic down). But it doesn't end there. You have to listen to the audio to fully grasp the magnitude of Sterling's racist worldview. Among the comments:
-- "It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you’re associating with black people. Do you have to?" (3:30)
-- "You can sleep with [black people]. You can bring them in, you can do whatever you want. The little I ask you is not to promote it on that ... and not to bring them to my games."(5:15)
-- "I’m just saying, in your lousy f******* Instagrams, you don’t have to have yourself with, walking with black people." (7:45)
-- "...Don't put him [Magic] on an Instagram for the world to have to see so they have to call me. And don't bring him to my games." (9:13)
Sterling has a documented history of allegedly racist behavior -- he's been sued twice by the federal government for allegedly refusing to rent apartments to Blacks and Latinos.
He was also sued by former Clippers exec Elgin Baylor for racial discrimination -- though a jury was ultimately not convinced and shot down Baylor's case.
Sterling has been separated from his wife Shelly for years. She remains a key player in running the team and sources tell us she's "mortified" by Sterling's comments.
We have made several calls to Sterling and his people ... so far, no word back.

President Obama Calls Alleged Racist Remarks By Clippers Owner ‘Incredibly Offensive’

KUALA LUMPUR – President Obama said the alleged “incredibly offensive”racist remarks by Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling “kind of speak for themselves” and that he’s confident the NBA will address the issue appropriately.
“I don’t think I have to interpret those statements for you,” Obama said during a news conference with Prime Minister Najib Razak. “They kind of speak for themselves … When ignorant folks want to advertise their ignorance, you don’t have to do anything, you just let them talk.”
An audio recording obtained and released by TMZ reveals a person identified as Sterling criticizing his girlfriend for “associating with black people,” a reference to a photo she posted on Instagram posing with former Los Angeles Lakers star Magic Johnson.
In a statement, Clippers president Andy Roeser did not confirm the authenticity of the recording but said on behalf of Sterling that the sentiments it contained are “not consistent with, nor does it reflect his views, beliefs or feelings.”
“I have confidence that NBA commissioner [Adam Silver] will address this,” Obama said. “Obviously, the NBA is a league that is beloved by fans all across the country. It’s got a lot of African-American players, steeped in African-America culture, and I suspect the NBA is concerned and going to be resolving this.”
Obama said the incident illustrates that more work remains to be done in the broader, long-running struggle for civil rights in the United States.
“The United States continues to wrestle with legacy of race and slavery and segregation. That’s still there,” he said. “We’ve made enormous strides, but you’re going to continue to see this percolate up … We have to continue denouncing it and teach our children differently.”
Obama said Americans have to “constantly be on guard” against racism, and noted that the Malaysian people wrestle with many of the same issues of equality and discrimination as well.
Donald Sterling, still The Worst

Maybe Donald Sterling hasn’t always been The Worst, but it really feels that way. Between the racism, sexism, lawsuits, cheapness and creepiness, if he hasn’t always been terrible, he’s certainly perfected it. It’s almost like the title of The Worst was created with him in mind, kind of like when Quentin Tarantino wrote the Jules Winnfield role in “Pulp Fiction” for Samuel L. Jackson. Being The Worst perfectly suits Sterling just like being a religiously conflicted hitman perfectly suited Jackson.
But sometimes, when you’ve been so abhorrent for so long, you need to do something to remind people that you’ve still got it. You can’t let them think that you’re losing your skills with old age. Thankfully, Donald Sterling gets that, which is why he’s been heckling his own players from the sidelines, like a classy gentleman who wears monocles and top hats. From Marc J. Spears at Yahoo! Sports:
It’s not uncommon to hear Los Angeles Clippers fans heckle Baron Davis. Of late, however, the jeers directed at the team’s struggling point guard are coming from a far more surprising source: The man paying Davis, Clippers owner Donald Sterling.Geez. He is even bad at heckling. Accurate, I’ll admit, but boring. Step your game up, dude.
Sterling has expressed his displeasure about Davis’ play by taunting him from his courtside seat at Clippers’ home games, several sources told Yahoo! Sports. Among Sterling’s verbal barbs:
– “Why are you in the game?”
– “Why did you take that shot?”
– “You’re out of shape!”
Or don’t, actually. Yelling at your own players is just … I don’t know if stupid is a strong enough word. No, we need a word that combines stupid, ridiculous, asinine and totally expected. Maybe “ofcourstupiculousinine?” Maybe not. But you get the point.
Of course Donald Sterling would heckle the players on his team — Spears also notes that Steling has berated Chris Kaman and former Clippers Bobby Brown and Mardy Collins. I’m sure he feels it’s his right to tell these players how much they suck because he’s the one paying their salaries. And since America is a country founded on free speech, he is right. But it’s just not a good look. It makes him look clueless, offensive and tactless. So, basically, par for the course.
In conclusion: Get out of here, Donald Sterling.
